Concert Curator and Artist
Artina regularly curates programs for Arts Organizations who want to highlight the works of Composers of African Descent who are often underrepresented in the canon and on concert stages. Organizations include Crosstown Arts and Austin Chamber Music Center. She is the Award- Winning Curator of "The Black Female Composer" series now touring across the country with James Rodriquez and Gwen Alfred.
I don't think that it is good for the world of music to have everything come out of the same mold. God didn't place only roses on earth, or only lilies or only violets. He put flowers of many sorts and many colors here, the beauty of each enhancing that of the others.
